Rooms at SKUFC are available for use by community groups or individuals from all cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds for educational and cultural purposes and to provide services useful to the local community, so long as the activities carried out on the premises do not contravene the terms of the Trust Deed or the Insurance Policy and show due concern for neighbours and the surrounding  environment. (Particularly with regard to noise and considerate parking). However they are already heavily used  so we may not be able to accommodate your booking. We do not normally accept requests for private parties or wedding receptions. 

There are three main restrictions all users should be aware of:

1/ Since the building is a Christian Church, religious ceremonies or acts of worship other than those of the Christian tradition and directed towards the triune God are not  permitted. (This respect for one another’s sacred buildings is common to all the major religions and is a policy upheld by the Redbridge Faith Forum). 

2/ There is no smokingon the premises at any time. (Prohibited under the terms of the Insurance, and by law since July 2007). We do not have an outside designated smoking area, and would discourage people from congregating in the street to smoke. 

3/ The use of alcohol on the premises is prohibited under the Trust Deeds.
